Sorry pembroke allan but there's more to supporting a football club than just glory. It's a life sentence no matter what division your team is in and I'd rather support my club in the bottom division and run as a football club should be with it's traditions in place, than in the Premier league in a kit that makes us unrecognisable and £150m in debt.

Of course I can. But to me our identity is much more than just a colour.

No-one wants a red club, we just want out club doing well on and -more importantly- off the pitch. If it takes a colour change to achieve that, then surely that's a small price to pay. Surely any football fan can understand that.

you seem to be concerned about our debt-level. I've already explained that this isn't external, toxic debt to some third party who'll wind us up if they don't get their money this time next year. This is an investment, lent directly by the major shareholder to the club to fund improvements and expansion. If the club does well he'll exchange the money for equity. That's how safe, solid investments work. And, btw, you won't find any investors who don't charge interest on their money.

they will be paid back as equity when the time is right. There is no other way, the club can't pay back at this point and Tan knows that so it's in his interest that the club is successful.

yes there is and i have been doing it for 43 yrs so def not glory hunter and unfortunately had to miss premier season aswell! but how any true fan can want his team to fail beggers believe no matter what the circumstances are?
