What are your expectations for this season?

I would say we will there or thereabouts come the end of the season. It will certainly help with Marshall between the sticks. I am happy with our forward line and midfield. If we can get Jose Fonte from Southampton, I will be more than happy. Like most supporters at the start of the season, expectations will be high. Which fixtures in particular are you looking forward to?

With the current squad anything other than winning the league will be a failure !

my heart says top 2 but my get tells me it wont be that easy, its a crazy league where promoted teams can get promoted again the next season and similarly relegated teams can be flirting with relegation....top 6 imo

This. Fancy us for automatic if we can get Fonte. Even if Caulker, Medel and Campbell leave

Squad is probably good enough to get us promotion but I have no faith in Ole's ability to organise and motivate them. I expect us to underachieve and the manager to be gone sooner rather than later. Really hope I'm wrong. It wouldn't be the first time.

Its always difficult to predict how a teams season will pan out, & this new season will be no exception where Cardiff City is concerned. Lets look at some facts that will influence our season ahead:

OGS, a relatively new manager at this level?

New player signings, will they all gel, can Ollie get every one (new & old) to play as a team?

Does Ollie know his best 11? Without playing players out of position??

Post Premiership hangover. Not many relegated teams have bounced back at the first attempt.

Its going to be tough, & were always going to be the team to beat. I predict a mid table finish next May.

Ole needs to identify a captain within our squad or make his next signing the right type of character to be one .without this I believe we may fail to gel and have the team spirit you need to get out of this division

I feel Ole and his team must get off to a good start.

I believe we got the squad capable of challenging the top 2 positions but my head is thinking we will be in or around the play offs.

I do have doubts about Ole's management style and tactics and if we have a poor start I think the knives will be out from within the club and from the stands.

Top 2, Anything but top 6 is a massive failure.

If we can sign Fonte or another centre back then we are one step closer to having a title-winning side. If we don't get that centre back in though we could end up conceding too many goals.

The Championship is a cruel mistress and even the best squads can struggle. If you take results for granted you will come out on the wrong side of a bad result.

I don't see why we shouldn't be aiming for the title but, to be honest, having seen how some teams just plummet, I would take a playoff place. I really want Solskjaer to succeed with us. More so than any other manager we've had because he's a nice guy and likes attacking football. I'm not confident he will though. He has my support until his last day but I do question whether he is the right man to take us back up. Only one way to find out!

2nd or 3rd. Can look past Fulham at the moment. Derby making some good signings as well

My hope is that we'll play some fantastic football and make the top two come May.

My expectation is that it will be a typical city 'rollercoaster' season with some superb results followed by some disappointing ones. I don't feel that Ole will get this squad to gel and play consistently. I hope I'm wrong because if they do gel, they will blow this league apart.

Like others I believe Jose Fonte will bring more stability defensively. We have great flair in midfield but are in desperate need of an aggressive 'box to box' type midfielder and a leader on the pitch.

Can't wait for the new season. Surely has to be better than last season's debacle!
