TWICE A DAY CITY PLAYERS

Fri Jul 18, 2014 2:58 pm

Ole admitted our players were tired away at Bath.
So the players are training twice a day while in Austria

Annis/Carl - hopefully!!!! Tired at Bath!!!!!! Heavens. There are no excuses they are professional athletes and paid handsomely. In our promotion season we were the fittest team in the division from the off - that is why we one the first 11 games on the bounce at home and giving us a fantastic start. Jones back late for family reasons! Maynard, Cala and another back unfit. New Palace recruit not ready. Rubbish. Ole has to sort them out and build a team spirit full of fight from the start. If they are not fit, taking it easy or are not up for the fight they can go NOW.
We the supporters are up for the fight. I expect 100% effort and commitment from the start and I worn accept anything else. End of rant.
By the way Noone had a problem at the end of the season and it should have been sorted out with an op immediately not leaving it until now which will put him out of action for possibly a long while. Will these medics! never learn. If you need an op, you need an op. The problem won't just go away. Sorry. End of secondary rant. :bluescarf: :bluescarf:

have you considered applying for the position of club doctor?

No. But what a good idea!!! I think you are missing the point though mate. Some are unfit of their own making and Noone clearly has a problem that has not been addressed. :ayatollah:

Of course there still on lol.
Cardiff are not going to cancel their arranged games in Austria because our players are tired!!!

Ole should give them all another couple of weeks off to rest up.

I'm pretty sure Cala got married during the off season soooo I'd say give the man a slight break XD yes they're professional athletes but some things are more important than football from time to time ;-)

Same with Jones if he really had a family issue going on. Glad we're not a club like Man City who refuse leave for family reasons.

Anyways Ole will bust everyone's asses I'm sure of that - I don't remember seeing his Molde team looking tired

They were very tired at Bath, they only played 45 mins each yet you should have seen the state of some of them getting on the team coach after the game, Bath were much fitter than us, I hope when i watch them at Yeovil there will be a big improvement. It was noticeable after Malky left that the fitness levels dropped and we didn't finish games well last season.

Just checking, thought that double training sessions replaced the games. I thought we had two games in one day? But now it's turned into 3 over 7 days instead

Or the players may have been drained that much from the defensive tactics that it took it out of them over the course of the season

You might well be right, you can't keep on closing down the opposition for 38 games without it having an effect.

You'll have to remind me how we did in the last 11 games........That's right we barely crawled over the line.
Ole is a product of Fergie who under cooked his team early season, so they were at it after Christmas..Don't think Ole will drift away from that policy
