Girls football team in the Pontypridd area.

Anyone on here with a daughter aged 6 or 7 going into year 3 in September who wants to play football.

let me know if interested.

Just saying like, but aren't all kids teams all mixed-sex until year 7?

Yeah, but we have 5 girls interested so if we can get a few more we'll keep it as an all girls team.

Plus there are other all girls teams around so it makes sense to get them to play each other.

Watch you don't break FAW & SWFA law. We currently have 7 girls and 4 boys in our under 8s team because of the mix aged rule, which looks likely to go up to Year 11 within the next year.

We already have 10 boys and with the 6 girls we now have a few more will make two sides. It makes sense to me to keep them separated (that's what the kids prefer) but since when has sense and the FAW been friends.
