A forum for all things Cardiff City

Saturday 2nd August - v VFL Wolfsburg (H), 3pm, Cardiff City Stadium.
viewtopic.php?f=2&t=142673Cardiff City Football Club are only selling the new upper seats in the Ninian Stand until the 5,000 seats are sold, if they are completely sold out then another part of the ground will then open.
The reason for this, is for health and safety to hopefully see the new section tested and full before the Super Cup.

I'll be there, wearing blue and supporting the boys.

And that there is why we will never ever get Tan to change his mind.
You are basically saying fans will turn up week in week out whatever he does.
If we want him to sit up and take note, the quickest way is an empty stadium during a televised game.

agree, people will hand money over to tan to watch a red team but moan when the seats are a different colour...ridiculous

Oh no you're boycotting a pre-season friendly which is cheap as chips because it's in the new stand where it's a simple procedure on a try out before the Super Cup final
Thu Jul 17, 2014 12:19 pm
So many hypocrites on here!!!
The club need your help to get health and safety certificates so they only allow red seats on sale and you all fall for it.
If there was one time and opportunity all you blue seeking supporters had to be as one, was to avoid buying red seats for the friendly against Wolfsburg.
Laughable, just laughable!

Not going but wouldn't bother me, as soon as I sit on it then it looks blue again.
Thu Jul 17, 2014 2:00 pm
Strangely enough, my backside can't tell the difference between a red seat and a blue seat. Or the white seat I sit on week in week out on the "A" of CARDIFF
Thu Jul 17, 2014 5:39 pm
Health and Safety guinea pigs, for a safety certificate
Thu Jul 17, 2014 5:46 pm
OK, I'm an outsider, but wouldn't it be a good idea to buy up the red seats and turn them blue by wearing the supporters trust shirts? Take something blue to leave on the seats at half time.

It's just a test event, before the super cup. It has to be done. The stand needs to be full to test & the same thing would happen if the seats were blue, red, green, yellow!
Nothing to do with tan, no evil decision to wind up the fans, just a simple test run for the stand.
