Too many options?

Wed Jul 16, 2014 9:23 pm

Clearly we have a strong squad and that is good. However, with so many options, particularly in attack, I am worried that Ole will chop and change too much. Sides that go up tend to have settled sides such as us when we went up, Reading and Swansea in previous years and latterly Burnley. Partnerships and mutual understanding on the field need to be built and it is particularly important to have a settled back 4 and 2 strong centre backs. Are you worried our formation and personnel will change too much from game to game and indeed during the game in an effort to keep everyone happy, which could cause us unwanted problems? :ayatollah: :bluescarf:

Championship is a long slog, larger squad is needed when you have 2 games a week! i'm sure he will have his preferred starting lineup and 2 strikers, but in the long haul it will be good to have more options so we can avoid player burnout! Will also be good if we're trailing a game, and we need to change something!

If we only had 3 or 4 strikers, then people would complain that we haven't got enough options  strength in depth is a good thing for us, but we do need to get rid of players who don't want to be here and who aren't good enough :ayatollah:
