What are your thoughts? I'm very surprised after the 1 year extension he was given.
A great championship player, and a great player to have around.
McNaughton Moves To Bolton For 2014-15
Cardiff City have today announced that defender Kevin McNaughton has moved to Bolton Wanderers for the entire coming season.
The Scotland international returns to the Reebok Stadium once more following a three month loan spell with them last season, and clearly he impressed their manager Dougie Freedman who has moved pretty early this summer to secure him on a season long loan.
In his previous spell with them, he made 13 appearances and scored one.
Having returned to Cardiff in time for our New Year's Day game against Arsenal, he went on to make a further seven appearances for us during our unfortunately relegation year in the Premier League.
It would seem unlikely now that McNaughton will figure in Ole's plans moving forward, so next summer he could well end his association with us since joining from Aberdeen back in 2006.
Next summer he will of course be out of contract after only signing a new 12 months extension last March.
