A forum for all things Cardiff City
Tue Jul 15, 2014 7:31 pm
It has been a busy day at Cardiff City Stadium, earlier today there was a giant inflatable football on the pitch which will play a part in the launch of Sky Sports 5 on August 12th when the channel launches and the stadium hosts the Super Cup Final.
Officials from Guinness World records were at the stadium to record the worlds largest football at Cardiff City Stadium.
This evening there is a lighting test taking place and another will take place tomorrow, you will notice the white markers on the grass which are used as part of the test, tonight the test will be at ground level and tomorrow evening the height of 1.5m will be tested.
The lighting levels which are hoped to be achieved will be better than that of Old Trafford, who were previously leading the way, but Cardiff City Stadium will move on to another level I am told.

Fantastic stadium.
lucky to get a ticket for the Supercup and can't wait to see a full stadium under floodlights.
We really should be so proud of what we have.

All great having all this at the stadium but having fans in the stadium all behind Cardiff City blue at home games would benefit the club hell of a lot more than poxy lighting and a giant football for the super cup. What a load of shite imo. Red will never unite the fans or club fact and uniting fans and club is only way this club can move forward and achieve it's potential.

Dont let big Ben near that thing, if he hoofed that it could do some damage, actually if he wouldnt mind hoofing it towards swansea that would be great!

Yeah, you tell them mate, damn Tan has gone achieving world-wide publicity for our stadium instead of trying to unite the fans!
This man is intent on ruining our club!!

To join in the fun I tried to think of something mildly amusing to say about the big football and one of our ex or current players, but I cant.
Thats all.
