This confirms none of our games in Lancarshire will be played on a Saturday. Laughable really. Shame on City for accepting the fixture, need to think about the fans, not a bit of cash, not that we need the cash with parachute payments

I can't believe how deluded people are about our financial situation. It is potentially dire. The premier league parachute payment is about £40 million less than we got from the premier league last season when we seem to have made a profit of about 10 million. We have to reduce expenditure by £30 million this year or raise that money elsewhere just to break even ( that's without taking account of a probable decline in other sources of income). We won't get it all from player sales because any money received will, in the modern way, probably be spread over several years rather than paid up front. We will be losing some big earners but we have also brought some in and I see no sign yet of any large reduction in the wage bill. There is the new stand to be paid for as well. I think we need every penny we can get but would be delighted to be proved wrong

To me, these changes evidence the undeniable collusion between Sky, the FA and the old bill when it comes to the fixture list.
What a load of bollocks.
