' Wales season ticket great value '

Tue Jul 15, 2014 12:17 pm

A Wales season ticket to cover every home qualifying game will cost £75 that is outstanding value and all games are at the Cardiff City stadium...Membership costs £10 for two years and if you are a season ticket holder and member you are virtually guaranteed away tickets unless there is are special circumstances like Andorra, where allocation is still not known.

In Scotland the fans are not happy with the prices and are threatening to boycott games.

http://www.scottishfa.co.uk/scottish_fo ... ?page=3902

Scottish FA membership also costs £55 a year.

I have a meeting with the FAW Friday,so will get more news then but regarding Andorra it really all depends on whether the new Andorra stadium is built in time, until that is known then ticket allocations can't be arranged...If it is built we will be ok for tickets, if its not and we play at the old stadium, tickets will be harder to obtain.

Tickets would be obtained on a loyalty basis which is worked out from records of the last campaign

Loyalty-based Points System

The same system will be used should Wales qualify for the final stage of the European Championships 2016 in France.

Points awarded to Gold and Junior members will be carried forward from the previous campaign only. Match points will only be valid if you quote your membership number at the point of purchase. Points will not be added to your account retrospectively

Euro 2016 Qualifying Campaign Tournament Ticket holder = 6

2014 World Cup Qualifying Campaign Tournament Ticket = 6

Euro 2016 Gold or Junior member = 3

2014 World Cup Gold or Junior member = 3

Home match = 1

Away match = 2

Example

So buying a season ticket this year will get you 6 points and that will be added to any you had during the last two years.

Will also find out about Belgium ticket info Friday.

Home ticket update

For Tournament Tickets, the lead applicant will need to be a gold or junior member, but they can buy for non-members.

For single home match tickets, we will go on sale initially to gold and junior members (who can buy for non-members as well) and clubs/schools through the Kickback Scheme, and then general public sales will start a few weeks later.

Exactly the same procedures as the last 2 campaigns.

this is a must for me. i havent had a wales season ticket since all the games were in the MilStad (2004 euro qualifiers) is it like a club season ticket where you get the same seat at every game? or does it depend on crowds etc?

Paul, could you ask the FAW if the application for Tickets this year will be the same as the last two years. They send out application forms to each member asking for travel details; where fans are staying; and dates of travel. Or are they doing things differently this campaign. :bluescarf:

Will there be a 16-21 price like there is with City? I couldn't justify £75 for 6 games when tickets for me are usually £10
