A forum for all things Cardiff City

According to a quote published on the website of Alfredo Pedullà, Inter has Cardiff against the wall with the Medel deal. The reporter indicated that the newly relegated club have not asked for anywhere near the previously quoted price of 13M. Furthermore, after factoring their relegation from the Premier League and the obvious desire of the Chilean player, it is likely that they will have to give the player up.
The price will likely end up as a few million for the loan payment and another 5-6M for the purchase.

Yeh right it's what they would like, does not mean that they are going to get, same site said that we were talking on the phone last night and the deal would be done yesterday, if he was right then the deal would have been done

It wouldn't surprise me if we dropped our pants for inter milan.
We've done it throughout the whole of our history, made a player sell a player and rarely get what we deserve for them.
yet we always pay over the odds

Interesting article Hmm
Are they trying to now play games?

Tell them to go f**k themselves and stick Medel in the reserves for a season.

He's contracted to us whether he likes it or not, unless Inter or whoever else comes up with a bid to the clubs evaluation. Something which is looking increasingly unlikely. Could he still be a City player come the start of the season?

Wrong in this case.
Inter confirmed M'Vila and said they will have to 'sacrifice' a few players to fund the deal of Medel.
We are staying firm and rightfully so.

Dare I say it but with a rich owner like Tan and throw in his stubbornness it would not surprise me if Medel is still with us when we come to play Blackburn.

Can't see that happening mate but I'd be happy if it did as long as Medal didn't sulk lol.

We have a really stubborn owner now though. I can't see him agreeing to let him go foe peanuts. He's had a great World Cup, Medel is easily worth £10 million on today's prices. Dig deeper in to your pockets u dodgy corrupt pasta eating bastards...
Y do these Italian tens always want the try before u buy? We will av him on loan and then maybe buy him next yr. they never do. The loan someone else.
