Do you Agree with players coming back badly out of shape?

I'm not saying don't have a good time.
But coming back fat overweight, unable to play 90 minutes of football, Is just ridiculous.
I've played for sunday league teams who have had fitter pre-seasons than some of our lot.

At the end of the day you are a professional athlete
And if you look at the very top players they are dedicated to the game their body's are temples in terms of football conditioning.

Alot of these championship players are to dumb to realise their lifestyle is having a huge and I mean huge impact on them tapping into their full potential and becoming better players.
It's not just the pre-season it's the commitment and interest some have. The best players always wanna stay behind work on things, their in the gym after work (football) living the right lifestyle.
Living the lifestyle you should be expected to live when your picking up 1million to 2 million quid a year in wages.

If I was running the club spending the whole time of leave on the piss and eating hot dogs just would not be acceptable.
If you want to do that go and play in league 2 not in the championship challenging for the top flight on more money a week than 80% of families earn in a year.
If your gonna work hard all season and be disciplined with your lifestyle then great.. But the older you get the harder it's going to become, until you reach your mid 30's and you let yourself go one season you'll never get it back and lose a good year maybe two more of being a quality player

In General but some of our lot are enjoying their generous wage packets a little more than they are the football
