I think we need to consider ourselves extremely lucky to still have this guy! I honestly think he'll light up the Championship this season and he's my prediction for the Championship Player of the Year.
Every time i see him play he stands out above everyone else on the pitch (figuratively)

Low center of gravity, close ball control, agile (many similar traits to Messi), not quite as pacey but i think if he could implement more goals/assists into his game he could be one of the world's best players in the next 5-10 years.
Don't wanna put too much pressure on him as he's still only a young guy, but if he doesn't win the Ballon D'or this season he is a complete failure
In all seriousness, i think a big club will snap him up next season if we get promoted, and its highly likely, especially in the current transfer market, he will go for big $$.
Just can't wait for the new season to start now, surely it can't be as bad as last year

With the poor standard of refs in the championship, i just hope other teams dont try and kick him off the park.

Could very well happen. Hopefully teams don't know too much about him though, especially at the start of the season.

He is pure quality in my opinion ,best thing Ole has done so far in signing him.

I think he has potential but in my opinion I don't think he has a final killer pass

Surely things like that will come with time and practice though?

Yeah, i think people forget how young he is. He is not the finished article by far.
To be fair if mutch had scored at stoke on that lovely through ball instead of shooting straight at the keeper. Or campell had on a few occasions we would not be sat saying that.
At united academy he had tons of assists i don't think it's much of a worry reckon it will come as he builds an understanding with team mates.
Especially if ole plays him more centrally.

Very.
If he starts the season on top form then we may see quite a lot of interest in him before the window closes.

He is not quite there but what I saw of him last season there is quality and if it all falls into position this season he could could be the best in the division, just hope he gets the chance, better player than the Championship and should shine this season

He reminds me of David Silva, with the ball almost super-glued to his feet. He has incredible potential, and I can imagine him fitting into a top European team in the future.
Then again, many thought the same of Kim Bo-Kyung.

He is already better than kim. And much younger Kim is 25 isn't he? Kim was good in the championship but looked out of his depth in the premier league. Mats shown he can hold his own in the premier league.
Never can tell how good a player can become though. Remember when bale was considered a flop at spurs?

I believe he'll be very near world class in a few years. Reminds me of David silva. Always looks like he has all the time in the world
Mon Jul 14, 2014 10:17 pm
He is clear class, but I'm not sure how many goals/assists he will get, even the very top players who start young these usually come last

I can hardly remember a time when he squandered possession or had the ball taken off him. He has a great first touch and is a very accomplished technical player.

I agree that we're very lucky to have him. But I think it will take a season or two for him to really shine.

If it is 2 years we need to offer him a new extended contract now.
Far from the finished article & very little end product at the moment but that will come IMO.

Playing for the Norwegian national team he has been delivering plenty of them through-balls.. especially against Czech Republic (bad quality on the video, I know)
