Cardiff boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admitted Bath City gave his team of former Premier League stars a “tough afternoon” at Twerton Park on Saturday.
Former Manchester United pair Frederico Macheda and Fabio started for the visitors, along with Peter Whittingham and new signing Javi Guerra.
Jo Inge Berger put the SkyBet Championship side ahead midway through the second half but Zak Evans earned City a notable draw in their first friendly outing of the summer with a 79th-minute equaliser.
Old Trafford legend Solskjaer, who made ten changes at half-time, said: “There was some bright moments.
“Bath gave us a good game and they had chances as well, particularly towards the end of the first half and the second half but we had some tired legs.”

Some good link up play in the first half. Second half looked a bit crap despite the goal.

Not really concerned about the result after watching them highlights. 10 men for most of second half too and some good play created lots of chances, macheda looking impressive again
