Congrats, wanted Germany to win for Ozil. Brilliant player who gets way too much abuse.

Well deserved for the team performance throughout the tournament, weren't too impressed at first but no team were as consistent

Excellent team performance worked for each other, Schweinsteiger ran and ran, got battered by the Argies in the process.

Buzzing about this being part German, my nan is 86 this month and being born in Germany this is an early present.

No individuals, a team of quality. :ayatollah:

Didn't have many praise but credit to Höwedes, works hard out of position as he is a natural CB. Could have had 2 tonight.

They'd probably host some formal gathering with mbe's etc handed out to the kit man, tea lady and 300 other people associated with the England football team , and........ If Wales won..........there'd be a small paragraph on page 8 of the Sun proclaiming " boyo taffs win minor tournament " :laughing6:

congrats to Germany, without any doubt deserved champions, Messi winning the golden ball? what a load of bollocks, yet another example of why FIFA deeps to be dissolved and reformed.

For me Schweinsteiger should have won it

The golden donkey award should have gone to side show Bob in the Brazil team
