FAO STEVE DAVIES

Steve, I see your name sitting there at the bottom of the screen ;)

You are friendly with Steve Borley and I know your feelings on Vincent Tan but during our last chat I never asked what do you see the long term plan of Vincent Tan at Cardiff City is ?

Carl

As far as I can see he must get us promoted this season and then keep us up in the premier the following season to have any chance of selling the club on providing he wants to get rid of it.
I dread to think the position we will be in if we fail to get promoted this season as there are two ways of looking at it.
There is the chain of thought where people think he has to much invested in the club to walk away but then you could also say he is wealthy enough to take that type of hit after he has asset stripped the club.
My personal hope is he gets the club promoted and then reaches a compromise over the shirt colour and badge and we can all get on with supporting the club we used to know
The guy obviously wants to be loved by the fans and he has a really simple decision to make that would ensure he becomes an overnight ledgend. The balls in his court :ayatollah:

Steve,

I cannot disagree with your view

If Tan changes the colour and badge back then he will get the credit for all the good he has done because he should have been regarded as one the best chairman we have had

Steve and Carl, but sadly I cant see him doing this as he is still going further with the rebrand.

But I do agree with you both, if he did then he still could be City's greatest ever owner :thumbright: :bluescarf:

He's had plenty of chances to compromise, and has shown that he has no real intention of doing so.

Maybe he's been ill-advised, or it could be that he's just stubborn, but either way he's missed a trick.

Can you elaborate on 'further with the rebrand' ?

Not just that Steve, I was at Cost Co today looked at the front of the stadium and realised we dont have a City player outside anymore in the BLUE kit, both Red ones now. The outside of the new part also has the Red stripe around it and the new home kit is pure Red, plus a few things staff have told me.

I don't think Tan ever said they were going to be blue. I I don't think anyone actually thought they were going to be blue.

No I dont think he ever suggested they were going to be blue either but simply by putting red seats in, it's rebranding the club further. Red seats in a Cardiff City stadium is just wrong.

At least you describe Mr Tan as the owner Annis. Carl thinks he is the Chairman :?

Or is there an "exclusive" coming up about Mehmet Dalman moving aside ? :laughing6:
