Ken Choo at Bath

Sun Jul 13, 2014 12:39 pm

I was at the game against Bath yesterday and stayed behind for a few minutes to view a few of the players getting on the new luxury coach.

A few were great and posed for photos with kids and also with me and the wife. It's interesting to observe those who really have time for supporters and those who are less keen. Matts D was the puck of the bunch for me.

Me and the wife have never been ones to stick around before, never really being part of the 'look who I'm with' brigade but we both saw Ole score in the Champions League final and as a Manchester lad I've always liked him.

I asked the coach driver if Ole would be coming back with him but he said he was driving himself. Noticing our disappointment Ken Choo (who didn't know us from Adam) just told us to follow him.

What a nice guy!

He walked us straight back into the ground and introduced us to Ole, who then signed our programme and posed for a few pics.

There was no need for Ken Choo to do that for a couple of strangers. He spent a few minutes talking about how ambitious everyone was for Cardiff getting back up and becoming a top club for years to come. He also talked about Tan and, although I'm probably opening this thread up to Tan Haters, what he said convinced me that our owner only wants the best for CCFC as well.

Top attitude that made the day for us.

Interesting snippet - thanks.

I couldn't imagine Simon Lim doing that!

Tan has done a lot of good things for our club.

If he changed us back blue he would be the perfect owner.

We've had plenty of false heros at CCFC but hopefully Ken can help clean up the finances here. Tan is hated and is vilified for the re-brand but once he leaves I hope despite all the strain he's put on us that the fans will appreciate him keeping the club afloat and becoming a bigger club in a more stable position
