Should our club award super Kevin Mcnaughton a testimonial game?
I know its suppose to be 10 years, but in modern football today, 8 years is a long time.

Yes without a doubt and I think it is a complete f*cking joke that we are allowing him to go

He can shag my wife but a testomoniial I'm not so sure
But in honesty I really don't know why you would give a player an extension of a contract then loan him out. Only in the crazy world of Vincent Tan and the erratic Olly.

He's only going on loan. All be it a season long loan. I would say if & when he actually leaves on a perm deal.

Not sure why people are annoyed at ole for letting him go.. Fabio and bray ford would start over kev so what's the point in wasting a year here?
He gave him contract before he knew the situation.
But yea he should be giving a testimonial.. and all the ex city players Steve Thompson, riccy scimeca , Chopra to play in them too.

he should. Stupid to let him go our squad lacks championship experience and he has it in abundance. I think we're unable to off load KTC so we have to drop a full back and with Brayford as a starter Kev had to go.

Yes to a testimonial.
Not sure when is appropriate, but Kev has earned it.

Yes, I find that very odd after he signed a contract extension

100% yes. There are not many players out there who show that much loyalty to a club, especially in the modern game. Other than Peter Whittingham, players like him don't come by often and he deserves a good send off (of course when he leaves the club for good).

Definitely. Thought McPhail should have had one too, if anyone deserved a special mention it was him.
But Kev has been our most consistent player for 8 years, you won't find that often in football. Will be weird not seeing him at the City as he's been here since I started supporting the club in 2006. Sad to see him go

Shame about kev but shows we are moving on

No sentiment in football , be honest the superkev of 2010 is not the Kev of today. We can't keep players because they used to be good , and are fans favourites otherwise Andy Legg would still be with us.

Yes, he should eventually get a testimonial. There might not be any room for sentiment in football but loyalty is rare and it should be rewarded.

Should get a testimonial but should still be playing fairly regularly.
Fabio with John as cover at left back
Brayford with McNaughton as cover at right back that's what should be done IMO.
Sell KTC.

that's the problem we cant sell ktc as no one wants him

Good servant he has been but was not good enough in this division when our full backs were expected to go forward and overlap the midfielders, his passing and crossing is awful.
As far as a testimonial goes I say it should be 10 years as always been and nothing less.
