I pointed out to them that Cardiff were championship champions and Palace made it via the playoff but Palace said that makes no difference as it is what you do when you are in the premier league that counts and they reached 40 plus points claming they are therefore worthy to be classed as premier league.
I do understand their logic..I guess its just hard to accept that we never proved ourself by reaching 40 in order to be seen as PL quality.

strange as 40pnts is just an imaginary total! as could be more could be less so if they survived on 38pnts that doesnt make them premier quality by their logic!

Yeah I know but Palace are not talking about themselves...They are talking about us. And even if 38 to 40 points was enough to survive. Cardiff still missed that minimum target by between 8 and 10 points. Actually this last year was very unusual as 40 points was not needed because so many teams near the bottom were not performing high enough standard therefore so many teams being in the relegation battle. That makes Cardiff look in an even worse light as we did not need the usual 40 points . Instead we only needed 37 points to just about survive yet we only got 30 points!
tbh they are talking nonsence! cannot say we wasnt premier league team when we were playing in it? until pulis came in they were far worse than us! so if for arguement sake we survived, we were premier team even though with same team that they say wasnt a premier team, simply we were not good enough to survive while they were. thats long & short of it.![]()
Palace hit well above 37 ( They got 45 points)

I've never heard anything so ridiculous Al.They sound the type to say a horse didn't run in the National because it fell at Beaches Brooke.

picking up that many points shows you have something about you.
if you struggle to do that then there are problems
