Luke Coulson

Hi Bluebirds - Hibee here as you can tell. Just wanted to get your guys thoughts on Luke Coulson. Hes currently on trial with us and there are rumours going around saying he will be getting a contract.

Just a few words on him please as I have never heard of him or seen him play but I imagine most of you have?

What is he like as a player and where does he play etc?

Hi mate and welcome

Coulson is a right full back, strong player who can get forward, played in our development team and I was a little surprised we released him as he looks a capable and steady player

Has potential and showed a lot of promise about a year ago. Likes to get forward and has a lot of energy. His touch can let him down at times. Of an age where he need senior games. I think he might get some appearances now you've dropped a flight like us.

But I think Thomas James has over taken him now in our DVP squad.

I'm sure he captained the development squad towards the end of last season so I was a bit surprised when we let him go.

From what I've seen of him I can echo what others have said, athletic and likes to get forward, seems like a good leader and is also more than happy to get stuck in. I think it could be a good move for both club and player.

Luke played in the second half of our friendly vs Berwick Rangers and performed well. (we won 4-0)

From what I saw he done all the basics right and has good pace and can certainly whip in a good ball.
