Good, even if he doesn't start regularly up front, he would be useful for playing just behind the main striker in a 4-4-1-1 system. Hope Mason can get a fair chance with a run of games this season as he still has the potential to be a top player.

Good man, really happy with this news, lets hope he can impress and get some game time, he could still have a big future with us.

Thats great news, its a fair old slog in the championship plus the 2 cups so there will be plenty of game time for him. Its up to him to make the most of any opportunities that come his way and make it hard for Ole to leave him out.

Good news a great finisher.

Im not sure how to feel on this, I think Malky stopped Masons progression by not loaning him out and hope Ole doesnt do the same. The boy needs games not to play a hand full of starts a season.

He could surprise a few.
I like Mason alot he has a winning mentality as shown at wembley v Liverpool and he works hard.
I think it's his make or break year he looked in fantastic condition v Carmarthen I think he has 20 goals in him at championship level I really do

Pleased for him, great finisher but I think he needs regular football. 15 mins here and there not helping him.

If Campbell and Kenywne are gone, don't see nothing wrong with that.
Got Le Fondre, Macheda, Guerra, Maynard and Mason. Loan out Healey and Etien.

If we keep Mutch though we have Dikgacoi, Whitts, Gunnar (who was capt v Camarthen), Eikrem, Mutch and maybe Ralls in the picture. With 5 strikers you'd expect a 442 but it's a tough where you'd place Mutch who is more of a number ten than in a two man midfield. That's before the people who think Dæhli will play as a number ten (personally disagree). Going to be hard to give them all game time.

id rather these problems than the days when we couldn't fill out the bench

can see a few headaches for OGS this season

Glad he is staying, he looked great against Carmarthern (i know i know) but he also seems to offer something else compared to the other striker we have
