Money made on selling players

We're probably going to earn about 16-18m on the sales of Caulker and Medel, do you think any of that will go into the playing squad or paying off debts? Opinions please :ayatollah:

Towards the debt in my opinion.

The good news is now that were not losing money on any of Malky's signings :thumbright:

Would of thought it be going towards the debt, dont think we need to spend money on the squad apart from a CB when Caulker leaves

In reality it's not money lost like you said, we're getting what we paid, it kind of leaves us in the same position.
I do know that we NEED to reduce the debt to abide by the rules of FFP so it'll probably edge towards that.

Cornelius is the big one, getting 3.5m out of a 10m deal isn't healthy to be honest.

I agree though, I was just wondering maybe we'd use some of it on a big signing? I think Austin cost QPR something like 4m(not that we need another striker) but you get what I'm saying, like a high calibre signing :ayatollah:

Cornelius transfer strangled us and was the downfall for Malky.

I read somewhere that we still owe 4 of the 8 million for Caulker...a lot of transfers are done that way...instalments etc...
and I don't know how they appear on the balance sheets or whether they are considered as a loss for the full amount when the signing is made or whether they go on instalments that are payable each year?

so if we sell Caulker for eight million do we then receive it in instalments with say 4 million up front...which we use to pay off Spurs ..an d we have to wait for the rest.... so there is then no transfer kitty injection

Perhaps there is someone who can enlighten me...

amandorin transfer is more than a little strange.

If we can break even on all of Malkys transfers I will be more than happy and impressed.
