Sunday Morning Football - Lazarou Leagues

Do any of you play on Sunday's, if so who do you play for ?

i used to and im going back to my old side next season JD builders

Still secretary for CSKA Sophia Gardens but got a management committee in place because my time has been taken up with the birth of my first son last year.

Entering a transition period after 6 players left last season and 8 players have signed. Should be an interesting season!

Henleaze Corinthians in the Bristol Casuals League - 5 divisions, 60 vets sides mostly in Bristol/North Somerset but some Welsh sides over the bridge. 12 league games plus Cup - which usually means 13 game seasons for us

Still go back for them 6/8 times a season from the Rhymney Valley - love it.

And I'm not the oldest at 53!

I run a Welsh League vets side (good standard) with our own excellent ground and clubhouse near Chepstow. We have a few players who travel from Cardiff and would welcome newbies Over 45 and upwards who can still play a bit. Most of our away games would mean less travel as well.
Good prospects to follow the 14 players who have already represented Wales in International games from our club.

Havent played for a few years (started smoking & worked weekends!) So I need to get my fitness back before I go looking!

But I can pretty much play anywhere, used to play Centre Mid, but have been known to chip in up front of even at FB.

Nice one. When you say you'll let me know when you're in a position to start playing doing you mean fitness wise coz if it is then that's why we are training and having friendlies

Sounded good until you mentioned "the 14 players who have already represented Wales in International games from our club" - at which point my delusions about my own playing ability were finally challenged beyond breaking point

Thinking of coming out of retirement for a season of sunday football.

Involved with a welsh league side on coaching front previously were south wales senior league side. Not played competively for a couple of seasons but wasplaying south wales senior when the boots were hung up.

Sure Annis, Mozzer and Zabier will give me a footballing reference.

arri i turned out for the carpenters but only when they were short !
