Crystal Palace, Latest news update:
Crystal Palace are waiting on a decision from Steven Caulker after holding talks with the Cardiff City defender. Eagles boss Tony Pulis is keen to get Caulker on board and, after matching the £8million get-out clause in the player's contract, was given permission to open talks.
Queens Park Rangers have also spoken to him but reports claim Caulker is holding out for a move to Liverpool, where he would be able to link up with Brendan Rodgers again. Rodgers was in charge of Swansea when he signed Caulker on loan from Tottenham but it remains to be seen whether he make another move as he hopes to sign Southampton's Dejan Lovren instead.
Saints could also move for Caulker if Lovren does leave for Liverpool and with so many options available it seems as though the Bluebirds star is in no rush to make a decision. by TaboolaSponsored Content
