SAMBA SHORTS: Brazil fans cheer German players, Fabio's locker trashed at Cardiff
GERMANY received an unexpected welcome at their training camp in Santo Andre after destroying Brazil.

WORLD CUP:

More than 200 Samba fans in the north-eastern town stayed up until midnight to cheer the team that had just thrashed their heroes 7-1.

"If Brazil's not in the World Cup anymore, at least there's one team still in it that play like Brazil," said Breno Antunes, a local police officer.

BRAZILIAN players have been forced to take a ribbing for their semi-final humiliation - even if they're not at the World Cup.

Cardiff defender Fabio turned up for training yesterday hoping to celebrate his 24th birthday.

But instead the boy from Rio found his locker plastered with German flags.

ENGLAND supporters may have been looking on in envy as Germany went goal-crazy against Brazil.

Joachim Low's side scored more in the semi-final in Belo Horizonte than the Three Lions have managed in the past two World Cups combined.

England have netted just five times in seven matches at the 2014 and 2010 tournaments.

:D

would wanna mention the reports I got from a few friends, who actually are in Brazil right now, cheering our team on. They all said unisono, the Brazilian fans were just fab, not one bad word for German supporters, they all shook hands and wished good luck for the final. Same goes for 2 Brazilian friends of mine, who both said that Brazil deserved to get battered and that Germany simply played great. Not one word of envy or looking for excuses.
