The Wine Society have lots of tastings at different venues, but the next one in Wales is in Swansea on the 2nd December 2014 at the Guildhall 6.30 - 8.30 pm £25 per head. I think it is open to members plus friends and family. Incidentally, if you are thinking of joining you pay a one off fee of £40 which gives you one share, with the dividends payable to each member's next of kin when they die. This is the oldest wine club in the world and is non-profit, with thousands of wines at very good prices. Their Society and Exhibition wines are fabulous value and very drinkable e.g. The Society's Exhibition Rioja Reserva 2007 @ £13.95 is made by Rioja Alta and is of a style between Vina Arana @ £17 and Vina Ardanza @ £21 and is exceptional value, but not as age worthy as the latter two wines.

Majestic Wines usually have at least 6 wines free to taste in store at any one time.

I know it's a fair way to travel, but Avery's have regular tastings in their cellars in Bristol, I've had a couple of good nights there. http://www.averys.com/jsp/templates/pag ... s_tastings :bluescarf:
