' HOW THE CLUB RUNS AND REPORTS TO VINCENT TAN '

The UK based directors Borley, Issacs, Filiou along with Kenny Choo meet on a regular basis, often sporadic but regular, there are many squabbles and divisions among their opinions and it is not often they all agree.

Kenny Choo reports daily to Mehmet Dalman and appears to be acting in away that a CEO would.

Mehmet Dalman passes on the info to Tan that the chairman believes Tan needs to know or address.

Tan sometimes joins in with the meetings on occasions via video link but it is only on a couple of occasions a year that they all get in the same room as Vincent Tan.

before people start saying tan doesnt listen (blue) ect these meetings are club related and how its run (transfers) ect maybe we are seeing start of stability in how club is run

Is it just me that thinks we are being run very professionally now. Forgetting the badge and colour as tan seems convinced that is t way forward. But we are negotiating very well for both incoming and outgoing transfers. Not losing money for both caulker and medel, spending well, and less noise of infighting and leaks from both players, staff and boardroom.

seems a massive difference since lim was replaced by choo and ole has had time away from the pitch to implement his changes.

in very much looking forward to this season!

No mate and never had a video conference either. Sounds like a forum bus trip with opinions on the players , formation and why they should buy raffle tickets and why the prize is always a book

The only meetings that take place are chaired by Mehmet Dalman, they are formatted on the same basis as a large public company and run on a strict format with board reports and presentations. There are no video links and the executive reports to the owner.

Dont understand why some people have to know everything about how the club is run, after all you are all only paying customers the same as everyone else.I trust the present board owner to take us forward as they are the professional business people who are experienced in being successful at the very top level.

Yes well when we first started watching football it was unheard of a football club closing down. Today it feels like even the top teams are vunerable to this. Our football club is part of our lives and when it is at threat you tend to want to know why unlike the old days when it never crossed our minds because the threat was not there.

Yes and no. We seem slicker in many ways as a club. We have more of the bells and whistles in and around the stadia and through our online and media presence etc. But PR is still poor. Not anywhere near as bad as the few years before the Tan era, but we made of embarrassment of ourselves in the media last season. I have not been as vocal in opposition of the re-brand but I respect the fans who stick to their guns. But the opposition has become more ferocious and more unanimous because of the poor lines of communication between the suits and the fans.

We are still far from being a club united and we will certainly under-achieve on the pitch while that is the case.

just to clear it up annis when sacking malky the video conference was between mehmet and tan
no other directors were involved in the sacking of malky in fact steve borley was against malky going and made that clear to tan who reminded steve whos club and whos ball it was.

I do totally agree with you Steve, Steve Borley stood by Malky and defended him all the way :thumbright:
