It should be fairly obvious by now that the forum admin team are trying to bring the forum back to its former glory, less infighting and abuse, and more topics relating to the playing squad and banter of a more friendly nature. Annis has added a couple of mods and brought back some 'old school' posters, notably 'Big Gwyn' and I hear that one of the forums favourite posters will be back very soon with a view to adding some decent content to this messageboard. He has cleared out a couple of users that made themselves unwelcome, I refer of course to the nuisance that was RoathMagic.

In other words the forum admin team is doing what it can to help improve the board from the back end, and they would be very interested to hear what you think they/we can do to improve things via this thread, the 'Forum Suggestion Box'

(Unfortunately this thread is going to have to be fairly heavily moderated, I dont want it to turn into a 'ban him' or 'lets abuse him for his ridiculous opinion' type of thread, those types of suggestions will be will be deleted fairly quickly by the Mods)

I think we need to limit the amount of stickys on the forum, I would rather see more threads that mods want to keep at the top in the Announcements section so that we dont have to look so far down the page for the non sticky posts. When I first started moderating Annis asked me to keep the stickies limited to 5 or 6, I think we need to readopt that policy.

I have taken on board regarding your suggestion on the Announcements and Stickies and have already reduced some, there was so many on because there was so much trolling/sarcasm etc in certain topics by 8/9 posters, now thankfully those posters are no longer with us, football can resume

I wil say this Gavin, the best thing we ever did was get rid of the 8/9 posters(they can not get back on ) and tidy the forum up, my fault it should of been done a year ago.

And adding new mods and of course getting you back on board and I had ph call from City Gent saying he is also returning.

Plus this really made me happy

This isnt a bad shout, if an arguement or general banter was getting a little heated but the partipants wished to carry on their debate we could move the topic to a seperate forum away from the football stuff, obviously it would have to be slightly moderated but it would prevent the football threads getting derailed.

A forum section for rebrand only. Coz its got so fecking boring the arguing on both sides. Most people just want to support their club and enjoy football banter.

Disscontinue the belittling and slagging off of our owner (banter about his trousers is fine ) and seek dialogue with him about doing whats best for the club and its fans. He's a billionaire with a huge ego and he won't liston to demands he'll just dig his heels in further.

With you all the way, Mods are told to give 3 warnings, but over the last couple of weeks a few were just intent on abusing other posters and were totally ignoring the warnings, thankfully we now wont have to use the warnings so much anymore as those posters can never return.
