I'm sure I read that there was nothing to read into it and that it was common practice. We are also not under the FAW anymore so poor journalism IMO

interesting reading carls thread on wages last night as we saw the likes of caulker , medel and jones up near the 4ok mark in wages and people being shocked yet there was that untried youngster cornelius on 45k a week.
must have been good for morale around the changing room and people wonder why 7 months later that malkys out of work
as annis would say hmmmmmm

As we signed Daehli from a Norwegian club then any payments involved to either the selling club or agents have to be made via the FA so quite where the FAW come into this is anyones guess. Just a poorly researched piece of journalism if you ask me.

Maybe the club hasn't paid an instalment agreed at the time of the transfer but any payment schedule would have been detailed in the transfer documentation submitted to the FA so any "Investigation" would take only as long as it takes to read the paperwork.

If the club are behind on payments then the FA has the power to claim any monies against future revenue the club receives, like the £23m PL parachute payments, so there shouldn't be anything to worry about here.

Far from it. He had just moved to molde was early on in his contract think he only played half a season for them molde definetly would have been compensated. Manchester United got some of the sell on fee.

I think it's an installment issue. I am sure it's not a big issue.

Maybe 500k was the first installment?

We will pay whatever we owe. We're not exactly low on cash are we with the cash windfall from relegation and Ross's deal? Tan paid up Quinn's all those years ago so will do with this.
Poor journalism

I'd pay up whatever it is in full for the likes of Daehli, he's gonna be an incredible player for us and should net us super profit further down the line :bluescarf:
