Marsh is great but he peaked last season. his value will never be greater than it currently is,£8m + for a goalkeeper with one years experience in an elite league.

Nonsense. He earned us about 10 points alone the season we went up.
How do you know he peaked last season? How do you know his value will NEVER be greater than it currently is?

Actually he talks sense.
Championship winning squads need a gerat goalkeeper. Which is what we have. Goal keepers generally peaker after 30, and have longer playing careers that outfield players.
He will surely save our arses again and again, and earn us points. With the attacking football Ole wants to play, he needs to be absolutely 110% confident in his defence. Marshall knows our players, and has proven himself to be a top top keeper.

Value wise he peaked.. But Barry is a simpleton who doesn't understand people have different opinions.
If he went to say Southampton for anything around £8m would Southampton sell him for more or close to what they paid?
I'm guessing not..so current value is a premium and the resale value wouldn't be close..
Again Baz... People's Opinions!!!!

I want him to stay at all costs

Absolutely. As I said, he got us 10 points with his performances the season we went up. I remember the stormer he had at Leicester away... Bellers Snatched a goal and then Marshall kept us in it & we won 1-0.

can't we put the pettiness to one side and just talk about the pro's and cons of Marshall staying/going?

You derailed your own thread, I'm afraid. I think you talk nonsense most of the time & I thought you did in this thread too. I then asked you questions related to your post and topic & you come back with calling me a simpleton and ignore those questions related to the topic.

Nope
Question ?
yes.....
nope. Definitely 2 questions. I'll break them down for you.
1. How do you know he peaked last season?
2. How do you know his value will never be greater than it currently is?
And it was answered when I said "Value wise he peaked"
But clearly your to much of a simpleton to grasp that.
that's not answering any of the questions I asked.![]()
Now you say I talk nonsense in all of my threads, then it begs the question "why the f**k do you read it then"?
I read every thread and post my opinions on them.

Yeah but you know how he is, and you bite. Just answer his post and ignore anything you take offence too.
I'm happy for people to say if they think I talk nonsense, I will try my best to back up what I said to prove otherwise.
Or you could just permanently put him on ignore

You follow him around on every near enough every thread. Saying in his opinion he thinks we should sell Marshall for the right price isnt nonsense at all I can see where he is coming from even if my opinion is different to his. You derailed his thread not the other way around.

Your spot on in what you say James.
I have tried the ignore and have offered a mutual ignore and stay away as all we do is clash.. But he didn't accept.
That tells me more about him as a person when I actually think about it.
He's back on ignore now anyhow..
