' Shirt Sales interesting '

The season we went to Wembley twice under the Riddler(BLUE) we sold approx 50,000-55,000.

The last time we were BLUE at home that season, we sold approx 25,000-28,000.

The first season we were RED and our historic promotion season we sold approx 12,000-15,000.

Last season in our first ever season in the Premier League in RED shirts we sold under 10,000.

What will this New season sales be like? Any opinions/guesses?

My prediction, the trust shirt will sell more than our home shirt.

Be surprised if it's more than 8-9,000

I'll get the blue one, as well as the a Trust one when I get paid.

Only red you'll see me where is Wales, although still have our red away shirt from a few years back.

Wonder what the sale of away shirts is like if there was a significant raise at the rebrand

Don't think they need to order too many in the adult sizes.

Kids will always want the latest kit whatever the colour and I'd rather see kids wearing a red Cardiff City top than a Liverpool or Man United shirt.

Adults have no excuse though!

Perhaps everyone with kids under 12 can get them to write to Tan saying they don't like the red shirts and want to go back to the blue one and a return to our old badge. A couple of thousand letters from our next generation of supporters should give him something to think about. :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :bluescarf:

Interesting figures, that say it all, really. Never bought a replica shirt in my life, though.

are these official figures from the club shop??

With the wealth Tan has amassed I don't think he cares about shirt sales

I have bought a replica home shirt every season for as long as I can remember ..... but after the rebrand 2 seasons ago Im afraid to say I have not bought ONE single item from the Club shop let alone a red shirt with beer mat badge :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :bluescarf:

By those figures, you aren't alone!!

Changing back to blue this season would have been genius!! Brought more in to see the games too. Too late now. Maybe next year eh?

Main thing is to turn up and support them on the pitch. Blue would be nice too and of course, 19:27.

Not sure what profit margins are but I'd guess that ccfc would make at least 10 quid per kit plus another 10 for names and numbers on back.

Tans stupidity must have cost the club the sale of at least 50,000 kits last season and a similar number the season we went up. This equates to 100,000 kits and at a tenner each profit that is a million pounds in revenue not counting in the profits from names/numbers.
For a successful businessman he is clueless in running a football club.

As a Premier League, City were told to expect at least 80,000 shirts sold in the UK/World Wide. Hmm

The alternate kit will outsell the official I reckon by at least 5 to 1 if not more.
