My Opinion, not worth it, a total flop.

Newcastle United Set to Offer Man Utd Flop an Escape Route

The Magpies are looking to bag Wilfried Zaha in a bargain £7m deal.

Wilfried Zaha may have only been at Manchester United on a full-time basis for twelve months, but his disappointing spell at Old Trafford could be coming to an end, with the Mirror reporting that Newcastle United are set to pick up the winger for just £7 million.

That would represent Manchester United writing off more than half of the £15m that they paid Crystal Palace for the England Under 21 international’s services, with Zaha having failed to live up to the expectations that he brought with him to Old Trafford thus far.

Initially loaned back to former club Palace, Zaha’s pace, power and mesmeric close control helped the Eagles to secure promotion to the Premier League, but Zaha found himself ostracised by David Moyes at Old Trafford, not giving the opportunities for six months and then farmed back out on loan, this time to Cardiff City.

Things didn’t go to plan in South Wales either, however, as the Bluebirds were relegated – and Zaha will know that the next decision that he makes in football may prove to be his most important.

Whether he tries to impress new manager Louis van Gaal at Old Trafford or not, the youngster must start playing regular first team football once again as soon as he possibly can.

£7m for Zaha? That would make Matts Daehli worth £50m, Noone worth £30m, Kimbo worth £30 too then by that logic cause all 3 played better than Zaha (even if Kimbo didn't have the best of seasons in the prem he did better than Zaha). Tbh I'd even take Whitts in the prem before I'd put Zaha back on the pitch, he was pretty useless. More fool Newcastle.

Better as a big fish in a small pond. back to Palace or equivalent. A disastrous loan signing by Ole. In fairness though, nobody could of envisaged the loan going as bad as it did.
