City to travel to Twerton Park after Hereford tie postponed

Cardiff City will travel to face Conference South side Bath City on Saturday 12th July, kick-off 2pm following the postponement of the Bluebirds' fixture with Hereford United.

The Bluebirds were due to travel to Edgar Street for their second pre-season fixture only to see the game postponed due to safety issues. Instead, Ole Gunner Solskjaer's side will now head to Twerton Park to face Conference South side Bath City.

Tickets for the fixture at Twerton Park will be available to buy on the gate and are priced as follows:

Adults: £10
Concessions: £5
Over-65s: £5

Looking forward to the game, a lot closer than usual for me! 10 minute walk suits me perfectly

If anyone needs any travel info or anything about Bath, let me know and I'll answer it

Station to the stadium, funnily enough, is about the same distance from the central station to the CCS. It's straight all the way following the road out of the city and then when you get to McDonalds turn left through the tunnel and the stadium is up on the left.

If you can't be arsed to walk, there is a bus that goes from the bus station which is next to the train station. Number 5 goes straight to Twerton Park.

Parking can be hit or miss, if there isn't room at the small stadium car park, you'll have to park on the streets around it.

Bath is full of pubs

The city is popular with tourists so avoid the tourist prices if you can. I like the Cork in the centre, Malloy's, the pig and fiddle are also good. Bath is small enough that everything is in walking distance so if they don't take your fancy, walk around and you'll find somewhere. I'd say your best bet is finding somewhere in the centre and then going to the ground but there is a couple of good places, the bell hop is one, on the walk down.

Bath Spa station. Trains to Oldfield Park are less frequent and only saves 5 minutes or so off travel time. If I didn't live within walking distance, I'd get the train to Bath Spa and then the No. 5 bus to the ground. Bus ticket return will be around £3-£4.

Once again the day we play Bath City I am not around Bath. Typical! Twerton Park is only about a 15 minute walk from where I'm living.
