We're going to be unplayable at times this season

Really optimistic at what damage we can do.
Javi guerra is just not the kind of guy who fucks about when he gets the ball and he's got a site at goal. Le fondre will do damage and the others are dangerous.

Our midfield its experienced versatile full of class it will be extremely confident and creative we have players who are going to give us a killer instinct.
are defence is ordinary we do need a CB 100% IMO and that with marshall still with us = we are going to be a formidable force
and at times this season teams are going to be begging for the referee to blow the final whistle

we won the league with a top scorer on single figures and no quality strikers for most of the campaign last time. If we can add Goals to what should be a similiar defensive record compared to last time out I really dont see how this can end badly

Totally agree 100 points :ole:

This is Cardiff City we're talking about. It's going to be a hard slog in an extremely competitive league. Everything has to be just right on and off the pitch. We should be top 6 but nothing would surprise me.

I can't see any reason except for the unknown in Ole why we can't go up but I do feel some are getting carried away.

If we were that good then surely we wouldn't have finished BOTTOM of the league last season? Our squad us considerably weaker this year (albeit playing in Div 2) so I don't share your optimism yet.

On the pitch, I agree we have a squad more than capable of challenging.

Caution needed as Championship is tough.

The off field instability is the biggest risk - Tan being nuts, infighting, staff leaving, bonus arguments, spygates, sackings, pro red, pro blue, etc.......No business can run like that.

Unless it all calms down, we will be our own worst enemies.

In the championship there will be no Ramsey's, Toure's, Hazard's, Suarez's, Van Persie's etc (the list is endless  )

The championship is tough but the club have experience of winning this league still relatively fresh in their minds. We have targeted our major weakness to last season & brought in so much firepower its scary! Our squad is better than last years!!!!

IMO we finished bottom because of the turmoil off the pitch. The club is a lot more settled now that Ole is in.

Getting a bit carried away IMO,players will leave the club meaning a new squad of players who will need time to gel and Ole is untested in the championship as he was in the PL and look what happened there. The championship is a tough division with many former PL teams and some decent teams developing and of course the promoted teams are always dangerous due to coming off the back of a successful campaign look at teams such as Leeds,Forest,Bolton,Birmingham to name but a few they are all former PL teams struggling to get out of this division. We need to treat every team with respect.

As usual in football it's really hard to predict but I am looking forward to it and on paper we have very attacking and strong squad.

It will probably depend on the start, a lot of relegated teams take a while to get back to winning ways and it affects the confidence. Fingers crossed we get a great start and do blow the rest away :bluescarf: :ayatollah:

We'll be unbeaten :ayatollah: :bluescarf:

In all seriousness, if we can get a similar home record as the consecutive home wins we had in 2012-13 then we've got a great chance.

Decent home record, and ten away wins is what I always look at.

A lot of teams will set-up defensively and hit us on counter attacks. Do we have the players to unlock tight defensive units?? All depends on the progress of Daelli. He will be a key player for us and we will rely heavily on his creativity :ayatollah: :bluescarf:

As for Kim, I have given up on him to create anything next season

Can't agree that our squad is weaker this season, when we have strengthened our midfield and forward line considerably, that's without taking into account the returning Nicky Maynard, Joe Ralls & Joe Mason!

Apart from the retiring Bellamy and players like Tommy Smith and Simon Lappin, whose contracts rightly haven't been renewed, the only players who are definitely set to leave us from last season's squad, appear to be Don Cowie, who has reportedly turned down Ole's offer to stay and Ben Nugent, who is set to go on loan to Yeovil!

Yes, there's a fair chance we're going to lose Medel, Caulker and Campbell, but I believe that as long as we bring in at least one quality centre back to replace Caulker should he definitely leave, then our squad will be far stronger than the one which got us promoted 2 seasons ago!

I also think that with the addition of a new centre back(s), we'll benefit from a fairly settled back four, as Ole should know his preferred and better performing options by the season's start, something which he didn't appear to know last season, when he appeared to tinker with the defence too often IMO!

I agree with some of the posts above.

I am more excited about the start of this season than I was last year.

As a photographer I like to cover both teams (so stay where I am at half time). Next season I fear I am going to have to move all my equipment at half time cos I can see us winning quite a few games by a 2,3 or 4 goal margin.

Ive always said we will hit 92 points. The additional advantage we have is that our players will have been together for 3 months so would have gel'd by August/September and can hit the ground running. Therefore I also think we might hit 100 goals for the season.
