David Marshall. Best keeper I've seen in a City shirt since my first game in 88.

hallworth for me was a hero when i was a kid, used to love him
but for me super neil alexander, him and kav are my all time favourate players

Hallworth and Neil were decent keepers - (although Neil couldnt save penalties lol) - but Marshall, in my opinion, is a mile above these two.
The only two keepers who come close, again in my opinion, are Ron Healey/Bill Irwin.

Marshall for me with Alexander a close second but Roger hansbury doing cartwheels at Cardiff arms park had a great rapport with the fans and a good keeper to boot

Yea i agree. Mark Grew for his save in '94against Man City. And George Wood, he's got no hair but we dont care...all stood out as given their all for the shirt.

Local boy Mel Rees a brilliant young keeper with a great future ahead of him tragically died of cancer at the young age of 26 just over twenty years ago.

Always seem to have done well for keepers in recent years, however when we've had a bad one we've a terrible one
Not forgetting Heaton to the list too, he was a good keeper but sadly for him Marshall just smashed it in the end

Definitely my top 3 favourite keepers these 3. My most enjoyable days were with Alexander in goals but I'd have to say Marhsall is by far the best Keeper out of the 3.
