Some of us have already purchased tickets for the train to hereford wer picking up along the line on the 9.13 from port Talbot and cardiff newport pontypool etc if anybody fancies a day out on the lash our mate runs a pub in hereford so wer going to have a messy day out anyway the more the merrier

BEER ON THE WYE X: HEREFORD BEER & CIDER FESTIVAL
Friday 11th July to Sunday 13th July, 2014 at Hereford Rowing Club, Greyfriars Avenue, Hereford, HR4 0BE.
Beer on the Wye will showcase over 120 different real beers from breweries the length and breadth of the UK, with styles ranging from light ales to stouts; from lagers to dark milds, and probably everything in between. Download beer list. The Foreign Beers Bar will again offer over 40 eclectic and interesting beers from overseas, for those with more international tastes.
It may be called Beer on the Wye, but an undoubted highlight will again be the Cider Bar. This will again feature over 120 different ciders and perries – with over a hundred of them from Herefordshire and, for the first time, a sprinkling of some of the better ciders and perries from a bit further afield.
But Beer on the Wye isn’t just about real beer and cider. Hot, cold and vegetarian food ensures that the opportunity is always there to mop up the alcohol, and seven live bands keep the marquee rocking well into the evenings. Various trade stalls, exhibitions and offers complete the picture nicely.

Sounds brilliant. Anyway why let a mere pointless friendly spoil a day on the lash and more to the point a beer festival
