Former Cardiff City striker Robert Earnshaw considers Newport County offer

Newport County boss Justin Edinburgh has reportedly offered a deal to former Bluebirds hero Robert Earnshaw
Could Earnie be heading back to Wales?
Former Cardiff City striker Robert Earnshaw has been linked with a move to Newport County.
The 33-year-old is a free agent after being released by Blackpool this summer.
According to the Daily Mail , Earnshaw is considering an offer from Exiles boss Justin Edinburgh to join the League Two club.
Earnie left Cardiff City for Toronto FC in 2013 after falling out of favour with previous manager Malky Mackay.
He signed for Blackpool last season but failed to establish himself in the first-team.
The 33-year-old admitted leaving Cardiff City to join Toronto was among the hardest football decisions of his career. During his first spell at the Bluebirds between 1998 and 2004, he scored 105 goals for his home-town club in 205 games after emerging from its junior ranks.
“I wanted to be there when Cardiff clinched promotion. That’s the club where it started for me as a teenager,” he said.
“My dream was to be involved when City achieved promotion. I wanted to play, I wanted to help the team.
“It was tough to leave, but that had to be done. I have to play first-team football. I was doing well in training at Cardiff, but wasn’t involved in matches."

Brilliant signing for that level, should take him a few weeks to get back into the swing of things but he'll bang them in. Also good for them to have local faces playing for them

Yeah, think he could get 15-20 goals at that level for sure. Newport County beginning to build a nice little team down there.
