' Points this season in the championship. '

Thu Jul 03, 2014 9:01 am

Not aimed just at Cardiff fans as there are occasionally others like the Brighton fan and some others that contribute..

(This thread excludes the Newport fan pretending to be a Leeds fan)

Where will our points come from this season? Promotion rivals? Mid table also rans or relegation cannon fodder?

I think we will perform well against top 8 teams, can see us being up for it and having a right go at teams, think our difficulties will be breaking down the so called lesser teams who will be very stubborn and hard to break down.
Don't think there will be many games this season where we look head and shoulders above anyone, but I believe the squad being built will have both skill and hard work.
Was going to post the teams in the league and how many points I think we will take from each but I can't be arsed on my phone
Anyone else fancies doing it? Be interesting to see how our guesses compare over the season.

I am of the view that we are a Premiership team, with Premiership quality players, playing in the Championship.

I also am of the view that, behind the scenes, we have a structure to match many of the top Premiership sides.

.... and finally, provided we UNITE this season, I am sure we can say we have the best supporters in the country.

Personally speaking I feel that we can hit 92 points. I wont say easily. But I am sure it is achievable for us. :bluescarf: :ole:

Agree with your post

Can see us getting over 85 points.

Yes, I believe that automatic promotion is achievable next season, but only with the fans being united and fully behind the club. :ole: :ole: :ole: :ole:

The minute we return to blue the fans will unite behind the club, probably to late for this coming season though, I'm afraid :bluescarf: :old: :bluescarf:

we could easily storm the championship and we could just as easily struggle and be at the wrong end of the table (Wolves had a strong squad on paper when they came down from the Premiership and look what happened to them) , the championship is a really tough league anyone can beat anyone .

Well if Im wearing rose tinted glasses I guess my prediction on Swansea finishing top 10 this year is also going to fail ;)

As a photographer last year I got to go to over 150 matches. Ive seen more football than the average supporter and seen it close up.

I am very confident that we will return to the Premiership quite simply because we have Premiership players playing in the Championship.

Not entirely Paul, but we should have enough.
If we start on a winning streak with good football we should all hope that the negative bollocks (extremist nutters and those making and angling for a cheap and nasty buck excepted) should die down and we can get on with properly supporting the manager and the lads on the pitch.
