I think it was about 50,000 when we went to Wembley twice in the same season Facup Semi and Final under Peter Ridsdale.

And before any purchasers see them "in the flesh" as it were.

I have been fortunate to see a sample and the quality is excellent - a professionally manufactured shirt from an established UK company run by a City fan with a track record of producing high quality sports stuff (they have done a lot of kit for the Commonwealth Games).

I am confident than once orders start arriving , those who have purchased will be able to come on to the message boards etc. to confirm how good a product it is , giving a further sales push.

Over £6,000 already raised for Ty Hafan - let`s hope that figure grows and grows. Continued thanks to the like of Karl and Phil for doing so much to get the idea off the ground for no personal financial benefit to themselves whatsoever.

Just spoken to local Kukri rep: around 1700 shirts now sold, which is pretty bloody amazing!

When the fans start seeing the shirts in the flesh so to speak the sales will go ballistic

1,700 given the size of our Fanbase I found pretty poor.
But I suppose given the amount of advertisement the strip as actually had, I suppose it's not to bad.
I do expect massive surges in the sales of the strip when 1.) the first pictures of the red seats appear 2.) the release of the Red Strip.

No doubt the Club will hold off on revealing and releasing the blue and alternative strips.

I couldn't be prouder right now! more and more blue available , and money made for a great charity..

To be honest, if I was on their merchandising team, I'd want the blue shirt out as soon as possible. People don't have money growing on trees, and for each blue Trust shirt that is purchased, that's theoretically one less blue shirt the club might sell.

There wasn't an alternative blue shirt to buy last year, when the club only released the red home shirt. This time, people have more options, so the club would be bloody stupid to not make all our various shirts available at the same time.
