but you would think that there would have been more interest within the UK if hes that good. From the Scottish league to the Portuguese league isn't that much of a difference really.

Doesnt mean hes ever going to be worth that amount they are just covering their backs just in case he becomes a world beater and lose him for peanuts.

They don't value him at 40 million. Almost every player will have a release clause like that in there contracts in Portugal.

Theres been plenty of interest from English clubs. The boy turned them down/refused to speak to them, he's always said he wanted to go abroad to play.

Six year contract as well, they must have confidence in him!
