I'm fairly sure that the Wales team that beat Italy 2-1 in 2002 were all Welsh born.

Not sure. Can't remember, to be honest. I know that the OP was about whole squads and subs, but just thought that I'd mention that an all-Welsh starting line up could beat one of the World Cup winning countries. No more than that, really. Four years later, a good few of that Italian team won the 2006 World Cup.

Just checked on BBC Sport. The subs were not all Welsh-born. Can't remember what subs were made. It was a pretty tense and exciting game. Just remember that the starting eleven were all born in Wales. Not perfect, but not bad, either!
