family holiday recommdations?

Any one got any decent locations for family holiday?

Looking to go away in September baby will be 6 months old so don't want to go anywhere boiling but a nice holiday abroad if anyone has anywhere in mind let me know so I can check it out.

Search the holiday villages first choice have to offer. Great hotels and catered towards family's with great facility's for the kids.

i went to Bulgaria with my girlfriend, came home last week! place i went was in Obzor, hour away from Sunny Beach so was away from all the partying! Hotel we stayed in was 4 star, extremely clean, and food was brilliant for all inclusive!

Hotel had it's own private beach and massive pool! weather was good and at 30°c warmest it was brilliant for us! would recommend it

Hotel Riu Helios Bay it's called!

Jardan Del Sol I think thats 4 or 5 star, there are about 8 of them in Santa Ponsa 4/5 stars,have a search

Just came back from menorca stayed at a hotel called Victoria in santo Thomas, right on a lovely beach. It's pretty quiet but what can you do with a baby? Everyone in the hotel seemed to have at least one under 4, sometimes 2 like me. Book through thomson which basically run the place. I like Majorca too but menorca has a smaller nicer feel for me.

santa eulalia Ibiza , great family resort ..

Alvor in Portugal. Great little fishing village, took our 7 month old to Vitors Plaza, great apartments and very reasonable.

try the Sol hotels in Torremolinos - easy flight to Malaga from Cardiff or Bristol and a short transfer to the town, I was there last summer going again in a few weeks with the missus and 9 y.o. daughter, Torre is a fab family-friendly place with great weather, food, entertainment, beaches etc.

Many hotels have facilities etc for the family as well as half-decent entertainment so you don't have to trek too far but still feel like a human being on holiday etc.

Alcudia (Playa de Muro) in Mallorca (Majorca) has a lovely beach and is not as windy as Minorca (Santo Thomas).
