ARE YOU HAPPY ?

As a City fan, are you happy with the 5 new signings and it is being said that there is likely to be just one more player coming in, a centre half.

Assuming that Caulker, Medel, Campbell and a few of the 'fringe' players will leave, are you content with the squad we would have going into the Championship ?

I am pleased with the signings so far as they suggest we are going for an attacking formation.

Think if we keep everyone now we certainly have the strength in depth to do well.
Not gonna say we will go back up, buy why not!
Get the consistency we had in the year we went up then there shouldn't be a problem

The transfer window is not even open yet. I am happy with the business done so far. Lets wait and see how many and who goes out (most of the high earners by the looks) before we say how many come in. I just hope Marshall stays and the defence is addressed I don't believe for a minute that there's only one more coming in.

Medel and Caulker won't be sold on the cheap, so dont be suprised if one of them is still with us next season.

Not upset about any players that have gone yet eg Bellers, Taylor. Caulker leaving in exchange for Besic if we could pull it off May leave us defensively better and having Brayford is effectively a 6th signing. I think we have a more than decent midfield with a massive amount of attacking threat and Dikgacoi has made the defensive element better. Up front we are much stronger. It has the makeup of a team that could challenge for the title. Yes I'm happy but don't want Marshall to depart.

Sometimes you see teams with squads that come down from the premier league and you just know that they will be to strong for the championship , I get that feeling with this cardiff squad
Newcastle did it a few seasons ago , west ham and west brom the same on a few occasions .
The question is not are we good enough to win the league because on paper we should walk it , the question is do we have the mental strength to cope with being favourites from The start and everybody upping their game against us .

Not too bothered about Caulker, Medel and Campbell going mainly due to it being expected. Our biggest loss will be Marshall if he goes.

I am very happy with our new signings, we now have options going forward, being greedy I would also like an extra out and out winger unless OGS feels Kadeem Harris is ready.

I don't want to see Kim, Whitts or similar players to these 2 out wide

Happy with the signings. Pleased wih the South African this was a great pull off! We must av offered an unbelievable package but then he was free so what the hell! Easily would av been £3/4mil fee...
We certainly won't struggle to score goals and Daehli and noones pace will be key! I'm concerned at centre back though! Cala is a neat footballer but there will be a lot of balls in the air in the championship and will he be cut out for this! We seem certain to lose caulker, Hudson's been out for a long time, and turner will still insist on hoofing it diagonally bypassing the midfield!
I think we need 2 centre backs to be honest and possibly another left back as cover.

Plus whitts wouldn't be in my starting xi next season.

That's true. I'm thinking we will play 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3

The signings look good. I expect there will be another 4 or 5 departures. Hope mutch doesn't go as he will be crucial next season.

If we start well then I expect us to be in top 6 all season and hopefully top 2.

I'd love to see us get that Besic from Bosnia and perhaps that Micheal Keane from United on loan (if he is any good)
This would allow us to become very flexible in our formations with two true holding midfielders in Besic and Dicgakoi we can play 4-2-3-1 with Fabio and Brayford given a license to get forward with a choice of Noone, Mats, Whitts, Kadeem, Mutch, Burgstaller, Mason, in the three behind our striker.

I don't think we have 2 players who can effectively play in the two in front of the back four (when Medel leaves) as Whitts doesn't offer enough protection unless Gunnarsson can regain some form or maybe Ole can use Call there.

Looks good doesn't it? We will also have a strong bench plus I think we will sign a couple more players. It's a tough league but we have got to be challenging for automatics with a team like that. We will be play offs minimum. Can't wait to see Dhaeli tear the championship up

very happy...........the one signing id have liked though is Daehli on a new 5 year deal..........

We seem to have a strong squad building but we need a good start to build confidence and momentum. A bad start could result in loss of confidence from the fans after last season's effort. OGS Will be under pressure from day one and the start is crucial.
Can't wait !

Chris Eagles and a quality central defender if and when Caulker leaves and we'll have a squad good enough to win the championship!

The key is to keep Marshall for me, others that are set to leave was always expected. Ole has signed quality players so far and with them being in early with a full pre seson to gel anything lower then automatuic spot would be seen as dissapointing for me.

I think with one more centre back we have the best starting 11 in the league
If you look at all title contenders in the premiership they have class offensive options ready and waiting on the bench.
We have top top championship attacking options ready at the need and we will in my opinion be challenging for the title.
