I'm sure I saw him just as upset after the Newcastle game confirmed our relegation.

So you are comparing love for your nation to love for your employers.
Imagine the outrage on these boards if rambo said arsenal means as much to him as Wales. Lol. Grow up. Gary Medal was a credit to our club during world cup.

The way people are going on we should be making a huge profit on him.
I didn't see these years when we went down.

He really has outshone everyone's expectations in Brazil. Maybe we've been playing him in the wrong position, one things for sure, he would make a massive difference in our Defence if we do keep hold of him

I noticed him after the game he was truly gutted. I wish him all the best I'v never been so excited for a player to come to Cardiff as much as Garry. I hope he can stay, but the way he played in this world cup he will be gone come August.

He would get ruined in the championship I defence.

I'm sure he was devastated, he gave it everything he had, was an absolute hero!!! How many other Cardiff City players have graced a World Cup. Did his country and our club proud. Well done Gary!!!

We should be proud that he was still a Bluebird when he did this at the World Cup.
Of course, this is a positve story about someone from the club for once, so it won't go down well with miserable people who post on this board at the moment.
A big

to Gary Medel!

May I ask why you believe this?.. he has just been one of the most impressive players of the world cup while the likes of van persie, neymar and iniesta have been his opposition.. why will ross mccormack be much harder?

Don't know why you would expect to.

i suppose if you were a pro footballer, youd feel equally gutted having played and lost on pens for Wales against Brazil......as you would losing games and being relegated for some South American club youd not even heard of 2 years prior to being relegated?

Massive

for Gary from me
seems amazing when you look at chiles defensive spine and realise one got relegated with Cardiff ,one with osasuna in spain and jara was released by forest.
That game yesterday represented a lot of whats great about football

how on earth can you compare playing for a club after 1 season, and playing and losing in world cup on penalties? stupid to compare.

Great article.
By posting it , you must agree with it , especially with the

at the end.
Debate it here
viewtopic.php?f=2&t=143312 apparently one of Swansea's biggest supporters and longest holding ST holder disagrees. Beware of him though , he likes a debate.
