What are you on about??? Of course HD represented us. WE WERE MENTIONED TIME AND AGAIN AS HIS CLUB
So when Gareth Bale plays for a Spanish club, you don't feel a sense of pride???
This could be a real boost for his price if he goes anyway.
DOES IT REFLECT BADLY ON CARDIFF? No!!!!!

No he didn't. He represented Chile.
I want Bale to do well because he is Welsh. Medel really doesn't give a toss about Cardiff so why should we care for him?
The only good thing to come out of it is his value significantly going up. Nothing more.

Having a CCFC player on the world stage means nothing to the club???
Have a word with yourself!!

So you think there will be an up rise in Cardiff fans from Chile then? It's nice to see a Cardiff player at the world cup of course but I really do not care if their sides does well or not just because they play for us. He played here for a year, did poorly and now all of a sudden that should be forgotten and we should feel pride because he played at a World Cup? No chance.
Going by your logic he is representing Chile when he plays at club level then. Face it, when he plays for Cardiff he represents Cardiff. When he plays for Chile he represents Chile. I bet he didn't think once about Cardiff in his time in Brazil.

Well wide of the mark , as is your attitude to players, present or past.
I won't respond using abusive language, even if you resort to it.

I'm not on about Chilean interest!!
I'm concerned with the reputation and status of Cardiff. He has done us no harm.
By a similar logic, Suarez has let his country down, but also tarnished the reputation of LFC. As a result, he could well be sold.
The point about Medel being not a representative of Chile when he plays for Cardiff is equally spurious. To have a relatively poor country mentioned in connection with a Premier League Club increases the uptake of Sky, etc all over the world.
Sorry about the shouting, but:

Personally, I was gutted for Medel and I am pleased he's had a great tournament to firstly, prove his doubters wrong by showing what a quality player he is and secondly, to put a good few million on his valuation if we sell him.

Abuse? You get more ridiculous every time you post.
Saying a player was poor for us isn't abusive. It's a valid criticism which is justified if you watched some of his laughable performances last season.

What a stupid sweeping statement to make: overweight and far too laid back!!
He just played in the highest paced game thus far in the World Cup.
Check out the comments from the pundits on TV after the game and during half time.
He wasn't utilise and motivated for us. No blame apportioned, but most would agree with this?
