I recall our loyal fan base being passionate and loud making a visit to Cardiff a concern to opposition teams and fans.

Awful owners, players and even a shirt with Superted on the front the fans were behind the club and team.

Now? a bloody protest group more interested in seat colours than Cardiff City FC. Clapping opposition fans who belittle us.

You are completely right, of course. I am sure there are more fans like us who put the Club before anything else. But I think some are afraid to say what they think to avoid the abuse that will surely come their way. Apparently, we are not true City fans despite in my case at least following them home and away for 50 years. I even saw them clinch promotion against Aston Villa in 1960. Incidentally, they played in white that day. And do you know what ? Nobody gave a stuff.

We never really had a strong hardcore fanbase, we just had morons who were in it for the violence, now that has dried up, they've all left after realising it wasn't the football that gave them their thrills. Unfortunately the re-brand was accepted on our behalf and we're to blame

I can remember my dad saying about going and watching city at home yrs ago and they was in red at HOME he's supported city for 70 yrs tho longer than most ppl on here have been born,I can understand ppl wanting to keep tradition but as you say there's ppl feeling that they can't have their own opinion and that if they wear red they will be mocked,and called a joke or plastic. As I said at the start we have played in red at HOME an nobody said anything then it's a shame it's at a point where fans turn on eachother,I'd prefer we was in blue but I don't hate the red either it's still Cardiff city and if we all back the team we'd be more successful,after all owners come and go the rebrand can be a distant memory in a few yrs time lets just back the team till then eh
