Not cry because it's just a stand with seats??? And not call anyone names if they want to sit there because maybe some people don't care about the colour and just want a good view :ayatollah:

I agree FFS! it's just a place to watch the game from and keep you dry while doing so.
Some of our fans are such hysterical whingers.
It wasn't that long ago we had a decrepit stadium and the Grangend had no roof.

Leaving it empty and red would be a disaster, huge block of red, make people think all the seats are red.

Fill it full of blue is the only protest.

Dont know what the answer to this is.

I just hope everyone continues wearing blue.

Do the same fans cry if they sit in a white seat? As it's the same colour of our biggest rivals Swansea or cry if they sit in a lighter shade of blue? At the end of the day it's a SEAT and the number of blue seats still outnumbers the number of red by a huge amount!

Exactly, the Ninian had a few coloured seats, did a few fans moan back then??? I don't think the red seats will annoy the Real Madrid or Sevilla fans come August will care. Or if we return to the PL and the seats are filled again :ayatollah:

Blue and white is part of our colour and your point is we shouldn't have white because of the jacks. Sorry but your point is a worthless joke

Take a blue flag/towel/jumper to the game and drape it over your seat covering the red for the entire game

Leave it empty.

I think the club should close the tier anyway even if the seats were blue, our stadium will look even more empty next season with fans moving up there.

Burn the fucker down, top half anyway :D Seriously though I think boycotting it is the most effective way of showing our disapproval. :bluescarf: :bluescarf:

Our disapproval of the red will be by showing a huge slab of red at the ground. TBH I think that would please Tan just as much. Make the TV cameras look like all the ground is red.

You won't even be able to see the upper tier on TV, besides there will be huge blue patches in the ground next season from empty seats.

Exactly isnt huge blue gaps better than a massive red gap?
And I have no doubt the upper stand will be shown by Sky etc even if it is to show off the red stand, the fact us fans dislike it will make it more of a topic for them.

Only at Cardiff could fans be moaning about a new modern stand. FFs

It looks good to me, thinking back 5 years to the shed at Ninian, Christ we have moved light years

If I was obsessed with blue, I simply wouldn't follow the club anymore. I would either go and watch Newport playing in their original colours or follow a park side with a blue strip. The latter would be a much cheaper option and a more sensible one too, assuming one is more concerned about the colour of the shirt than the standard of football on view.

When the red seats go in it would be a cracking statement if,and this is assuming only a few hundred fans relocate ,at say,27 minutes past 2 on Saturdays we could arrange for the fans in the new stand to sit in seats to spell BLUE.This would not cause a safety issue as is long before kick off and would help prevent any animosity between fans in other parts of the ground as the new stand fans could be seen as still fighting the cause .

With only 20 odd people taking part in this survey so far, I get the impression that the majority of supporters couldn't care less what colour seat they sit in. If I have a good view and can keep dry, they can make seats pink with black spots for all I care. The shirt colour is a different thing though, and I am very much in favour of a return to blue.

Protest about a stand with red seats?

I've heard it all now.

No one is "obsessed with the colour blue", you are very ignorant if you think that's the case. We are Cardiff City fans and our club has over 100 years of history and tradition associated with the colour blue and as the 'Bluebirds', our true identity. That is why we're not happy with the fact that some foreigner has come in and turned us into a red club without even thinking about what the fans think. The fact that someone needs to explain this to you is extraordinary. A club's identity is far more important than the standard of football, and if that's all you care about then maybe you should support a team like Manchester City.

Jon he came and offered investment subject to a rebrand this was accepted by the board and the majority of fans at that time.

Time for protest was against the board at that time not now years later. VT was upfront with his terms.

He's only fulfilled about 25% of his promises. Time for protest was then I agree, but that doesn't mean fans like you should have a go at fans protesting now.

It's not going to be empty people have already bought season tickets there.

It will also have the best views for occasional fans that go to the bigger games and they won't give a shit, wear blue is the best solution IMO :bluescarf: :ayatollah:

Fill it full of blue is the only protest.

What a load of absolute nonsense. it's all about the identity of the club, which happens to be blue. Can't be much of a fan if you'd just go and switch to Newport.

It was a pathetic comment Ralph. Obviously no idea what it means to support CCFC. But there you go.
