Just wondering what the clubs policy is on letting immediate family (in my case brother) using my season ticket next season, I will be working away in london so will miss a few fixtures, I'd hate for it to go to waste, has anyone had any issues with this? Also would it make a difference if my photo is on the card or not? Thanks

Officially, you shouldn't. The club have every right to take the ticket away and it says so on the ticket... However, normally, they turn a blind eye as long as the type of ticket is the same.
Ie not an adult going in on a child's/student ticket. Etc.

My sister used my ST a couple of times last season. She even went to the ticket office to upgrade, (she had gold membership), but they told her it was ok, as both of us are in the same price category.
The stewards look at the lights above the turnstile, as you go in, to make sure that adults don't use concessionary STs.

Yep, passed my ticket on (for free) a few times in recent seasons and never an issue to date

I've never had any issues as long as its in the same price range i.e. adult using adult or child using child.
A friend of mine had a student ticket and let his mate use it for a game about 3 seasons ago and the steward took the season ticket off him and told him that the ST holder would have to go down to the ticket office and pay the difference to get it back, which he did.
Hope this helps

Thanks for all the replies guys, maybe a silly question but does it matter if you have your photo on the card (as opposed to the badge) as the stewards on the steps normally want a second look at the card

Don't worry, that has happened when my son took my ticket - stewards are apparently 'checking u are in the right block'.

The stewards on the steps, (we use gate 3), don't really want to see the card, or paper tickets for that matter. They just ask if you know where your seat is. Honestly, never thought of it as a second check, just the stewards trying to be helpful. By then, my card is usually back in my wallet. I just indicate where I'm going. They have never insisted on seeing my card. Probably best if your brother knows exactly where to go, not look lost! But we've never had any problem.

Don't think they are doing photos on the cards this season...

Interesting. They asked for one for myself and my dad. Same as last year. Mine had my photo on it, but my dad's didn't.

Never been a problem for me, the stewards only check to make sure you're going into the right block

My sister and dad have shared a season ticket for years. Never been a problem at all. I think as long as it's adult for adult.
They are basically looking for people abusing the system using child tickets as adults etc
