Glastonbury fans warned!

As if having Metallica as headliners wasn’t bad enough, now festivalgoers heading to Glastonbury are being told to prepare for rape.
Not really, obviously, but a subtitle blunder during the weather report on the BBC News At Ten mistook the weatherman telling the audience to ‘prepare for rain’, and instead contained the caption ‘prepare for rape’.
After a screenshot of the gaff found its way onto Twitter, the BBC were forced to issue an apology for the error.
Despite that, the BBC can’t do much to change to weather as this year’s festival, which will also feature Arcade Fire and Kasabian, is expected to be hit with severe rain storms.

This isn’t the first time iffy subtitles have gotten the BBC into trouble.
Earlier this year they rang in the new Chinese new year by welcoming viewers to ‘the year of whores’, when the announcer actually said ‘welcome to the year of the horse’.

What's wrong with Metallica? One of my favourite bands and I can't wait to watch them Saturday!

Exactly - I'd sooner watch them than an overrated dinosaur like McCartney.
