French air strike

Anyone got any news on this ,are any flights going out of Bristol to spain

I flew back with Easyjet from Toulouse to Gatwick last night. There was also a Bristol flight there same time. We were delayed just over an hour but got out ok. The internal French flights were all cancelled and the terminal was organised chaos with no announcements. It seemed pot luck if you were affected or not

Thought for a moment that the French Air Force had sent planes to fire on ISIS fighters. I was about to call my friends on holiday in Spain and tell them to keep Their heads down.

9:30 from bristol mate, Ryanair we flying with . 23 of us.

Don't think you fly over France when going to Cyprus, think it's Belgium then Germany down through Italy, Greece then Cyprus.

I don't care about the strike, I'm flying first class to cologne on Sunday and the longer I wait the more I'll be taking advantage of the complimentary drinks

The girlfriends parents were suppose to fly back from benidorm (alicante airport) yesterday but flight was cancelled and had to get train to Barcelona today then to Montpellier then to Paris and then to London by late Saturday night. Heard the strikes were on till the 30th.. But I haven't bothered looking up any updates

I don't know whether this strike is on or not but people need to understand that when an air strike happens it keeps many aircraft in the wrong places so a lot depends on the route your aircraft takes on the flights before you even board!!
